Growing Girl's Bedroom Part 2-Turquoise Dresser Makeover Sneak Peek!

My mom and step-dad had this amazing and beautiful antique dresser they decided to give to Rylinn for her room. Furniture from the 30s and 40s amazes me because even after all these years it is so sturdy and strong. Not to mention the attention to detail that was taken on it. It was a really dark brown color to start....I think I have a before picture of it somewhere??? When I find it I'll post it.

I saw the dresser below on the Remodelaholic Blog and knew this is what we were going for. Rylinn is soooo excited and her FAVORITE color is turquoise!

Here's a look at what I would like our final dresser to look like:

My mom and step-dad were kind enough to sand the ENTIRE dresser and drawers.....they also painted 4 coats of primer on it (Thank you Mom and Steve!!! We owe you BIG time).

Here are some pictures of it after the sanding process was complete:

Here are pictures of the dresser with primer. The final prep work is done and now it's time to make the magic happen!
