Orange, Coral and Pink Bridal Shower Banner

Here's a look at the latest bridal shower banner I made!

Where else you can find me:

Girly Graffiti

I started creating "Girly" type graffiti for fun and I have to say it has become one of my most popular items! I don't consider myself a TRUE graffiti artist....just an artist inspired by true graffiti.

Here are some of my most popular Girly designs which can also be found on my Etsy Shop:

I made an Easter Etsy Treasury!

Easter is near and I'm so excited one of my banners made it on an Etsy.com Treasury! A 'Treasury' is a collection of "favorite" items and they usually have some sort of theme. The Treasury my item is in this time is called "Easter is Near." OK I know it's not a huge deal....but I'm always happy when someone notices one of my items!

I also listed some other items below I LOVED that made it on the Treasury list as well!

Here's my 'Sweet Love' Banner...and a link to Designs by Hollie on Etsy.

I love this wreath! It can be found My Red Door Shop

I also adored this spin on Mason Jars for Easter found at LITdecor

This is a great burlap hand stenciled Easter pillow to throw on the couch and can be found at

And who doesn't love Peeps?!?! Even if you don't like to eat them, you have to admit they're still so cute. This set of wooden Peeps can be found at Singing Saw

Happy Easter!

Breakfast at Tiffany's Bridal Shower Banner

I was recently contacted by a woman in New York, New York to help her create 4 banners for a "Breakfast at Tiffany's" bridal shower. This theme is inspired by Tiffany & Co. and Audrey Hepburn's role in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Well, I've been working on them and here they are finally done!
I really love the colors and the theme is adorable!!!

Big Girl Bedroom Makeover....More Pictures

linn's room is almost complete! There are a lot of DIY projects in this room that were super cheap!

I saw inspiration for the pink pillow at The House of Smiths and fell in love
Here's a picture of the original pillow

And here's mine below....
I ended up buying the pink pillow case and saved myself some time, but I followed the flower tutorial and added some sparkle to the center.
I bought the gold pillow from Kirkland's and made a fabric flower to add to it for some extra girliness.

Here's Rylinn's DIY chalkboard made out of a silver tray, chalk board paint and some ribbon...total cost= about $5!

I also made the chalkboard in the picture above out of on old picture frame, paint, and chalkboard paint= about $5

Here's our DIY flower ball made out of crepe paper and a styrofoam ball.
Total cost= about $2 (+ a lot of patience!)

The kids helped make this!!!

I also saw this on The House of Smiths Here

And of course my refurbished Hobby Lobby Nightstand below:

Here's a closeup of the picture hanging on the wall. It's from Target for $19.99
And here's a gorgeous vintage carnival photo I plan on ordering from this Etsy.com Shop
It just reminds me of Ry so much!

Growing Girl's Bedroom Part 2-Turquoise Dresser Makeover Done

Ta-Da Here's our dresser ALL complete!

Here's a color swatch of the color we ended up going with.
We found it at Home Depot and it's the Behr Disney paints in a color called
"Timeless Tales."

Rylinn picked it out ALL by herself! And I have to say I'm in LOVE with this color!!! It's a little aqua, a little bit turquoise and it has sort of a minty feel to it. It really is the perfect shade because it's still bold enough to make a statement yet subtle and soft too. It's a perfect balance if you're a little afraid to use too much color. You really can't mess it up hahaa!

Here it is in all its glory "BEFORE"

"During"
The dresser was completely sanded down, then painted with 3-4 coats of Kilz primer. Finally, it was finished off with 2 coats of Behr Paint in the Disney custom color "Timeless Tales"

These are the original handles from the 30s-40s time period! Isn't it beautiful?!?!

Here's Cord adding the antique hardware back on
